Fashion designer Austin Scarlett, who gained fame as one of the Season 1 contestants on "Project Runway" and has gone on to design wedding and couture collections (including for Neiman Marcus and Warren Barron in Dallas), will make his full-length opera costume-design debut later this year with the Fort Worth Opera, for their world-premiere production of "With Blood, With Ink." Scarlett was in Fort Worth on Jan. 16 and 17 for a preview event and costume fittings.
