International fashion label, Blokes and Divas official label launch and a fashion show for private viewing of the latest luxury collection in Dallas, TX. Accomplished fashion designers Teddy Legbedion and Patrick Osaghae invites you to the official launch and a private viewing of their collection from their international fashion label Blokes and Divas. From Milan to Paris, Lagos to Cape Town, Dallas, to New York, Pole to Pole, Blokes and Divas has continuously and successfully made its mark on the runways and in wardrobes of the highest standards.
Of their collection, which they have fondly called ‘’the private event’’ the internationally acclaimed talented duo pay homage to the woman within. The woman that gives life to the dress. She is the diva, in her private place she tells you that is beautiful to be a woman with her unpredictable shows of skin sensually draped in subtle shades of silken fabric. Her life is a catwalk and she is bold strong and proud to walk all over it. Her curve shows it, her strides speaks volumes and the dress comes to life.
Like a breath of fresh air on a summer walk on the beach, their choice of colors is a salute to both the lighter hues of the earth and the dramatic tones of the sea. The dramatic flounce and Aso Oke they have used has been inspired by the languid moves and music of the sea waves against the rocks. A fusion creating an unexplainable clash of colors. The peek a boo of lightly draped lace and delicately embellished jewels has been inspired by starred skies seen on a long walk along the beach in a summer night all fused with sartorial cuts celebrating the woman who dares to be different.
Their 2012 woman is dressed in silk, drapes, flounce and sparkling stones. Their use of subtle shades of teal, emerald, champagne and notes of peach expertly woven into delicate blends of chattily, macramé lace and Aso Oke fabric gives a whole new freshness to what afro chic and the woman is all about.
