PARK(ing) Day Dallas promotes the use of temporary green space as a form of community activism. Partnering with city leaders, a series of parking spaces are reserved for organizations, private companies and individuals who form teams to transform spaces into areas for relaxing, networking and various forms of entertainment.
The Environmental Protection Agency is organizing a Recycled Fashion Show to help kick-off PARK(ing) Day festivities. Sign up with them to show off your wearable creations!
Design your own outfit using recycled products, clothing or fabrics and show off your creation on stage at "Park Day Dallas 2013." Must Register by September 13 by emailing Donna Miller at Miller.Donna@epa.gov
Participants may enter up to 2 garments. Garments will be rated for:
(1) Innovative/Creativity
(2) Execution of Concept;
(3) Quantity of Recycled Materials versus Other Materials Used in Construction
(4) Wearability
